DESCRIPTION:Saturday May 14th is World Migratory Bird Day!  The overall mission of World Migratory Bird Day (WMBD) is to raise awareness of migratory birds and issues related to their conservation. The campaign highlights the importance of international cooperation and encourages national and local action to protect migratory birds. The 2022 campaign theme\, Light Pollution\,  is designed to increase awareness about the negative effects light pollution has on migrating birds\, their behavior and activity levels.  The campaign will be used to highlight actions that can be taken by a wider range of actors including individuals to reduce light pollution. We are fortunate to serve market segments that are strong and growing\, even during these tough times. \nWe are currently looking to hire a part-time sales associate who will thrive in the specific duties and responsibilities of a Retail Sales Associate vary widely but include the following responsibilities: \n•	Serves customers by helping them select products.\n•	Drives sales through engagement of customers\, suggestive selling\, and sharing product knowledge.\n•	Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner.\n•	Responds to customers’ questions.\n•	Directs customers by escorting them to racks and counters.\n•	Provides outstanding customer service.\n•	Documents sales by creating or updating customer profile records.\n• Assisting in maintaining the back stock room and setting up merchandise displays on the sales floor\n•	Manages financial transactions.\n•	Processes payments by totaling purchases\, processing checks\, cash\, and store or other credit and debit cards.\n•	Assists with inventory\, including receiving and stocking merchandise.\n•	Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest.\n•	Collaborating with fellow team members to keep the sales floor area clean and always organized.\n•	Ability to lift to 40 pounds.\n•	Familiarity with backyard birding\n•	Must work on Saturdays.\n•	1 year + of sales experience. \nIf you are interested\, please apply in store.
